You can talk to our prescribing pharmacist about your contraception needs and work together to decide on the best option for you. Depending your personal circumstance, the pharmacist may be able to prescribe a hormonal contraceptive (either for the first time or for something new). Sometimes, the pharmacist will have to provide a referral to a medical practitioner like a GP for further care. Your pharmacist will also tell your regular GP about your discussion and any medicines prescribed, if you agree.
